NCO camp 2007

Look at us !

Here come the NCO camp again, last year it was a wonderful first trial of our CBSS NCO camp. Last year, 4 of our CBSS CI Serena, Dun Hui, Nelson and me run the whole camp. Nelson was the Camp Coordinator and I'm his assistant.

This time round the camp coordinator is Meng Siang and I'm the assistant. Again there's 4 CI altogather, Amirah and Long Jie lend us a helping hand this time round.

It was rather a whole new experienced working with Meng Siang and as compare to Nelson. Nelson would respect my decision despite I'm only a junior CI at that point of time. Whereas Meng Siang is trying to make me fit into the way he wanted me to, things that he feel differently he would immediately want me to do some changes to do.To be honest, I'm pretty frustrated sometimes, especially when he start nagging at me. Worst still when I told him I really need to sleep after debrief everything which was already 2 something in the morning, then he gave me that look. So no choice but to listen to his nagging again =.=! , until 3 something then me and Amirah get to sleep. Same goes for the next day, we sleep at abt 4 something. I seriously never encounter such a naggy ppl in my life before. I everything pray hard that he won't start it, the day 1 activity seriously far behind time. It's very damn tiring for me to take drill session for the whole morning for consercutive 3 days cos Dun Hui didn't turn up.

But not all the time I turn off when he start to nag, sometimes it makes sense to me, but although is only one point, he would elaborate and repeat it again and again. =.=! Next year if I've got the change I would like to organise this again. Hopefully, next time round is with the help of our new CIs.

camelot camp

Yesterday I just came back from the Camelot camp, so coincidence it's Chong Boon Growth camp. Wah, so nice to meet up with all the chong boonite as well as teachers. It's so heart warming to see everyone cheer for Chong Boon.

But this was really a great experience, I was so high even after camp. I think I really did achieve what I wanted. I was supposed to learn how to think positive and how to motivate others too. Hmmm, good try! I wanna camp again in Camelot!

The most exciting is I went out to kayak using single deck kayak WITHOUT even getting 1 star kayaking cert. Wow! Wayne is a gentleman, he lent me his sleeping bag! Finally know why Melvin always boost and mentioned abt his camps. And I learned a lots of cheers!

Teachers kind of shock to see me working as a camp intructor there.

Whole new experience, whole new life!

For some reason I get to stay in Swiss hotel -The stamford for one night.
Wow, first time in my life. Right below the hotel is Rafles city. When I reach the hotel I forgotten to bring toothbrush. I have to make my way down to Rafles city again in my home cloth! Cos I lazy to change again. Haha!

Well, I think I'm damn lucky. I didn't go for the Camelot training, which suppose to be yesterday and today. But they still bother to call me yesterday. They said they can put me in for one of the camp for me to learn. I request for Chong Boon Sec camp. haha . They agreed! I get to see the familiar faces again, but I think easier for me to work and perform with familiar ppl. Yeah I gonna Rock Chong Boon camp!

I will learn like a sponge, I want to make myself strong and power!

Skittle ball competition

I asked Wei Ming bring the sec 1 to YCK sec skittle ball competition. At first I thought I gonna go back to CBS and assist them in the speech day training, but after my exam realised that Dun Hui is in the unit so I thought I better go to YCK and take a look at them.

The sec 1 are really shocked when I suddenly appeared cos at that point of time they are cursing and swearing at other sch that against them few mins ago. Amirah was trying to calm them down at moment. But they are quite pleased to see a familiar faces there to support and motivate them!

But one thing is that my sec 1 is small size as compare to other players. So they loss out in this area. But the character of my sec 1 really stil like a small kid. Headache! I like the mother for them when I brought them back to CBS. But they are quite cute. One boy even use an umbrella to shelter me all the way.
